American Builders and Remodelers recently decided it was time to redesign their identity. So they approached me about the task and I set out with the first part of the redesign which would be their logo. I used a patriotic color scheme to play off the “American” part of their name as well as adding in the star in the middle. From there I had to work on an icon to go with the logo. I finally settled on an “ABR” scheme where the “A” is represented by a carpenter’s square and the B and R are more rigid “blocky” letters. I just received approval a few days ago so I’ll be meeting with them to start on the rest of their site soon.
