Brent Smith from Oxyzone, a local company that specializes in sterilizing and purifying air in homes or businesses approached me recently with a problem. He had a website designed for him and didn’t like the “generic” content that had been used. He also didn’t like the imagery on the site as most of it dealt with the negative affects of toxins in the air. After a brainstorming session with Brent we decided that instead of focusing so much on the negatives, we needed take it in a better direction and focus on the positives of having cleaner, healthier air. We ended up cleaning up his existing logo to make it look more professional, replaced the imagery with pictures that reinforced Oxyzone’s commitment to clean air, created new content and rewrote some existing content, simplified the menu to make navigation easier, added a clean air quiz to increase interactivity and more. Plus we gave his site the full SEO treatment to help his placement in search engines.
