Giving Thanks

This time of the year it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, combined with the end of the year blitz that you have to deal with as a business. In year’s past I’ve found myself swept up in it, usually not getting into the holiday spirit until a few days before Christmas or even worse, sometimes not at all. However this year with SND Designs heading into it’s 10th year in business, I’ve decided to take the time to reflect and share my appreciation for all of you. 

10 years ago I had just started dabbling in building websites for clients and had just started reaching out to potential clients. I had no idea what to expect but I was lucky in that I picked up some exceptional local businesses. I had no idea how wonderful it was going to make me feel to help customers grow their businesses. I am incredibly lucky and fortunate for the relationships I’ve found and continue to find. These relationships are the backbone of any good business, but more importantly they’ve turned into friendships that have enriched my life. I feel fortunate for having all of you in my life. 

I want to take this time to wish a happy retirement to Art Duckworth, owner of Apple Orchard Farm in Stanley, NC. Art was my very first customer and I’ve shared many happy memories with him over the years. From taking pictures and creating his website, and watching his windmill being assembled on his farm, to my wife eating fresh figs from his orchards, to introducing my dog to his horses. I hope you have a wonderful retirement, you’ve certainly worked hard for it and earned more than your share of relaxation and happiness. 

As I enter into my 10th year in business I’m excited for the future. As always I’m striving to innovate and find new ways to help people grow their businesses and have the best digital presence possible. I thank you all for your support during my first decade and look forward to our continued relationships. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I’m truly thankful and lucky to have you all in my life!
