Myfinancialindependencecoach.com recently contracted me to do a redesign of their customer dashboard. The existing dashboard had a ton of links and buttons and the thought was that the new clients were confused by the over abundance of information, which resulted in them logging out instead of actually using the interface and engaging further with their service. So the idea I came up with was to have a dashboard that was striking visually while narrowing down the choices so they wouldn’t get overwhelmed or intimidated by the interface. This is the design I came up with. They love it and have contracted to start redesigning the rest of their interface to match it.
